The enginehouse contains numerous pieces of heavy machinery for maintaining steam locomotives.

Walcott Lathe. Belt Drive, size 17" swing x 60" CC. Listed as 1921, this is the oldest shop machine, predating the engine house.










Air Compressor. Manufacturer unknown, 5 HP drive, horizontal tank mounted.































Kling Bros Iron Worker. No. 7, serial #2851, 16" blade, 48" throat, purchased in 1925. The Kling Bros Iron Worker is a combination press, punch, shear, and coper.















American Long Bed Lathe. Size 24" swing x 120" CC purchased 1925.















Carlton Radial Drill. Size 11" x 48" Purchased in 1925. Also a large amount of Morse tapered bits in the tool room.















Racine Horizontal Hack Saw. Size 8" x 16" purchased 1925. In the back is a Rockford Shaper. Model 24 STD, Hy Service purchased in 1935 cost basis 1,790.30. It was purchased used.















Woodward and Powel Horizontal Planer. 10' x 2' table, purchased in 1926.





























Greenfield Threading Machine. Size 18" swing x 24" CC. Purchased 1925.
