Cab ride for up to two people during a freight run on the Santa Maria Valley Railroad. Get a rare opportunity to ride along with the SMVRR Freight job switching various industries in the Santa Maria Valley. By appointment only for up to two people. Generally freight service jobs are Mondays and Fridays, other days depending on customer needs. Cab rides are typically 3 to 4 hours. Minimum age is 18, however exceptions can be made for children over 5 if accompanied by an adult.
2. Valentine's Day Excursion for Two

A romantic Valentine’s Day Dinner Excursion for two aboard the La Condesa on Saturday February 14, 2009. This private Friends event starts at 5:00pm at the Betteravia Historical Townsite for a three-hour excursion. Enjoy a dinner prepared and served by the Friends of the SMVRR stewards, followed by a decadent chocolate dessert.
In the case of nearly-simultaneous bids of equal amounts on-site and/or by email, the earliest of the matching bids will stand.
You may specify a "don't exceed" bid and our Webman will bid up for you as needed until your limit is reached.

A silent auction will be held during the MOW Speeder Run this weekend on the SMVRR. And you can bid by email!

Proceeds benefit the Friend's acquisition of the old blacksmith shop contents from what was the downtown yard.
